Our history
It all started in 2019 with Qurba, a social network that was focusing on making it easy for food lovers to connect, share, and enjoy food together from top restaurants. From day one, we were passionate about using technology to enhance the social aspect of food, so the platform quickly gained traction and grew to over 50,000 active users, with 2.1 million views and engagements on its content.
However, as the platform continued to evolve, we realized that they wanted to do more and create an even more inclusive community for foodies.
With this in mind, in 2022 our team decided to rebrand as Pleny. The new name reflects our commitment to creating a platform that offers plenty of options and opportunities for food lovers. It also represents a fresh start and a new perspective on the social aspects of food.
